OpenAI Frontier¶
openai's enterprise platform and the team responsible for it. Per ryan-lopopolo (on Latent Space, April 2026): "our enterprise platform for deploying agents safely at scale with good governance in any business." Ryan's group specifically handles frontier product exploration / new product development — packaging OpenAI models into solutions sold to enterprises.
Credited internally as OpenAI's heaviest Codex users. Built the 1M-LOC Electron app that is the canonical proof case for harness-engineering: 0% human-written code and 0% human-reviewed code pre-merge, over five months. Also authored symphony — the ghost-library + reference Elixir implementation they open-sourced.
Target customer archetype: Snowflake / Stripe / Citadel-class enterprises (Ryan's own background), where governance and safe deployment matter as much as raw model capability.
